Metadata Model

These metadata model changes were made in this release:

  • The legacy Workbrain 4.1 model has been removed.
  • The legacy model package WBStandardReports has been removed.
  • Redundant data sources have been removed from the model.
  • Model Package names have been standardized.
  • The model was enhanced to use session parameters more uniformly:
    • Language ID

      Replaced account.personalInfo.homePhone with account.parameters.WBL_ID.

    • Team ID

      Replaced account.personalInfo.PagerPhone with account.parameters.WBU_ID.

    • Location ID

      Replaced account.personalInfo.FaxPhone with account.parameters.WBLL_ID.

    • Database Type

      Replaced account.personalInfo.MobilePhone with account.parameters.DB_TYPE.

  • A number of namespaces in the model have been consolidated and enhanced to simplify report development. The core Workforce Performance reports have been modified to reflect these changes.
  • Modified and validated the metadata model for changes made in Cognos Framework Manager 10.2.1.
  • To optimize the model, the physical layer was modified by changing how table and view columns were selected from the Infor Workforce Management (WFM) database.
