Temporary availability patterns

You create, edit, and delete temporary availability patterns.

You can only create a temporary pattern after you have defined a default availability pattern for the selected employee. You can use the temporary patterns to change the employee’s availability pattern for a particular time period without having to redefine an employee’s default pattern. A temporary pattern is uniquely identified by its Start Date and End Date values. In the case of a 14-day pattern, the Start Date is used to match a calendar day with a pattern day. The past dates and the current date for temporary patterns are disabled.

You can use the AMX_LEN registry parameter to set the number of days in the temporary availability pattern. For example, if the AMX_LEN registry is set to 14, a 14-day period is covered in the temporary availability pattern and the calendar displays two full weeks of availability from the selected start date.

See the Infor Workforce Management User and Administration Library (Multi-tenant) and select Administrator > Registry Parameters > Platform Registry Parameters > AMX_LEN.
