Custom workflows
You can customize core actions in the Self-Service Portal to add additional validation or approval steps. Custom workflows for these actions can be defined using the Form Studio in the WFM desktop application.
You can specify custom workflows for these forms under :
- Post Shift To Billboard
- Review Clocks
- Shift Trade
- Withdraw Billboard Shift

Note: Starting with the 2025.09 release, the Self Service Portal supports a validation framework that you can chain custom validation nodes with core actions similar to Shift Trade Eligibility. Validation messages from any node in the chain now show in the Self Service Portal interface, improving feedback and error traceability.
