Securing Cognos reports

Report security is categorized into these areas:

• Securing the Cognos server
• Securing report data
• Securing report execution

Workforce Management users must have the appropriate permissions to access the reporting tool. It is recommended that report authors have the WBI Report Authors role. To reduce the chance of unintended changes to the sample report template or other reports or functions, it is not recommended that report authors have the WBI Administrators role.
