Balance reports

We recommend some additional configuration to improve the performance of the Balance Detail Report and the Balance Summary Report.

Maximum employees

In the Registry Maintenance, use the BAL_REPORTS_MAX_EMPLOYEES parameter to set a maximum number of employees for the report. If the report query returns more than this maximum, an exception is shown. To run the report, you must change the parameters to return a smaller number of employees.

Purge records

When the Balance Detail or Balance Summary report runs, it adds preprocessing records to the AGG_USER_WRK table. To improve the performance of the report, we recommend purging this table regularly.

To purge this table, an archiving policy AGG USER WRK Purge Policy is provided under Maintenance > System Administration > Archiving > Archiving Policy Definition.

To enable this policy, you must add an Archive Policy Runner task in the Job Scheduler. Specify AGG USER WRK Purge Policy in the Archive Policies field in the task parameters. The task should run every two hours.

In an on-premises or single-tenant environment, this task must be run manually for the first time. After the first time it will run automatically.

See Administrator > Application Configuration > Application Configuration > Archiving in the Infor Workforce Management User and Administration Library.
