DISPLAY_JOB_DESCRIPTIONS

Description:

This parameter determines whether the job description, job name, or both are shown on various screens across the application. When set to true, the job description is shown in the pages. When set to false, the job name is shown. If set to both, the job name and job description are both shown.

You can specify two values for this parameter, separated by a comma. For example, when you specify both, true for the DISPLAY_JOB_DESCRIPTIONS parameter, the first value is evaluated and if it is supported by the screen, data is displayed accordingly. If the first value is not supported, the second value is evaluated and data is displayed accordingly.
Note: When you are using both and another value, always put both as the first value. For example, both, false.

If only both is used but the screen does not support this parameter, the system automatically uses the default value.

If you specify an invalid value for this parameter, the system automatically reverts this parameter to false.

This parameter affects screens such as MR/OTS, ASV, Manage Schedule, Billboard Manager, Central Staffing, and Approve Time Off.

To access the Weekly Schedule page:

  1. Select Scheduling/Schedule Optimization/show a Schedule.
  2. Click Edit or New.
