Time Off request display in MR and OTS

Employees scheduled in an MR or OTS may have time off requests displayed in different statuses within the MR and OTS grid, which helps in schedule planning around employee leaves and early resolution of schedule conflicts. If a leave request falls on the same day as a plotted MR or OTS shift, it is displayed under the shift label. When the leave overlaps the scheduled shift time, the leave is identified as a conflict. These conflicts can be addressed during processing through the Manage Publish Conflicts pop-up.

The display of time off requests varies based on their statuses:

Approved time off requests

Approved requests are shown using the time off code in square brackets. For example, [VAC] for vacation leave and [SICK] for sick leave. If multiple approved leaves occur on the same day, […] is displayed.

Pending time off requests

Pending time off requests are unapproved requests created in the Time Off Planner. These requests are retained during the processing of MR or OTS.

Pending time off requests are displayed with a Pending Leave icon. If there are multiple pending requests for the same day, or a mix of approved and pending requests, a […] indicator is also displayed. You can hover over the icons or the square brackets to view details such as the time range and affected activities.

Pending time off requests are visible by default on the MR and OTS grid. You can display or hide them by selecting the Show pending approval leaves check box under Display Options.

Note: For new installations, this check box is enabled and visible by default. For upgrading customers, you must manually enable it to display the Show pending approval leaves check box.

See Infor Workforce Management User and Administration Library (Multi-tenant) > Administrator > MVS > Displaying the Show pending approval leaves check box in MR/OTS

In ASV, unapproved time off requests are displayed with a Publishing lock icon during the rotation process.
