Changing Relief Status using Mass Edit

You can change the relief status of shifts using the Mass Edit mode in ASV.

Note: You cannot update the relief status of shifts that are booked off, marked as Relief Not Needed, Locked, or Assigned to employees. A warning message is shown specifying that you must deselect shifts that are not marked as Relief Needed or Assigned.
  1. Display the ASV view where you want to update the relief status of a shift.
  2. Select Edit Mode > Mass Edit.
  3. Select the shifts for which you want to update the relief status.
  4. Select any of these buttons:
    Relief Not Needed
The Relief Not Needed button is displayed for all Unfilled or Pending unassigned shifts that do not contain a relblk_id of NULL. When you select this button, the relief status is changed to RNN. The button is not available for locked shifts.
    Relief Not Found
The Relief Not Found button is displayed for all unassigned shifts that do not contain a relblk_id of NULL. When you select this button, the relief status is changed to RNF. The button is not available for locked shifts.
    Mark as Pending
The Relief Not Found button is displayed for all Unfilled unassigned shifts that do not contain a relblk_id of NULL. When you select this button, the relief status is changed to Pending. The button is not available for locked shifts.
Note: The Relief Not Needed, Relief Not Found, and Mark as Pending buttons are hidden by default. Turn on Config mode and set the Permission Flag to Act in the Security Configuration window to show these buttons.
The relief status for your selected shift is updated.
