Opening row editing mode

The way to open row editing mode depends on the type of schedule or template to edit.
  • An MR that has been activated can be opened directly to edit row versions:
    1. Select Scheduling > Multi-view Scheduler > Master Rotation > Manage Master Rotation.
    2. Click Edit for the MR to edit.
    3. Select a start date and end date to view the MR and click Go.
    4. Click Edit Template to open row editing mode.
  • An OTS template can be edited through any OTS schedule that it was used to create:
    1. Select Scheduling > Multi-view Scheduler > One-time Schedule > Manage One-time Schedules.
    2. Click Edit to open an OTS that is based on the OTS template to edit.
    3. Click Edit Template to open row editing mode.
  • An OTS template in ACTIVE status can be opened directly into row version editing mode:
    1. Select Scheduling > Multi-view Scheduler > One-time Schedule > Manage One-time Schedule Templates.
    2. Click Edit for the OTS template to edit.
    3. Select a start date and end date to view the OTS template and click Go.

When row editing mode is open, employee names are hidden on each row unless they are specifically set to display. You can access the row editing controls for a row by right-clicking in the Employee column of that row. To create bulk row versions for all entries, click Edit Template. The Create bulk version icon becomes visible. Once it is visible, select it to proceed.

To return to the MR/OTS schedule when you finish editing, click Back to Schedule.
