Shift Edit callout

The Shift Edit callout is implemented by customers to automatically make edits to shift summaries or shift details while performing transactions in MVS. Values for flags, UDFs, and labor metrics, such as the Project, Docket, or Department, are inserted or overwritten during shift transactions. Activities in shift details are also overwritten.

The Shift Edit callout supports these transactions:

• Saving shift changes (ASV, Staffing Center, Employee Call Pop-up in the Relief Calling Area)
• Creating ad-hoc shifts (ASV, Staffing Center)
• Floating a shift in ASV to create new "float to" shift
• Publishing shifts from a One-time Schedule or Master Rotation
• Set activities for shift details
• Access the associated rotation ID and rotation row ID for shifts created from an MR or OTS
• Invoke the callout to edit shifts when processing MRs or OTSs
• Merge shift details
• Split shift details
• Move break details to another time within the working times of the shift
• Ability to associate skills with shift configuration
