A day part set defines the day parts that cover a 24-hour period.
         
         
          - Select . 
- Click Create New Entry. 
- Type a name for the new day part set in the Day Part Set Name field. 
- Type a description for the new day part set in the Day Part Set Desc field. 
- Click Save. 
- Click the New row button to add as many day parts as required to cover the full 24-hour period. 
- Specify this information for each day part:

              The name for the new day part.

              Day Part Desc

              A description of the new day part.

              Start Time
             
- 
              The time the new day part starts.
             
- 
              End Time
             
- 
              The time the new day part ends.

              Hide Day Part
             
- 
              Select the Hide Day Part check box to hide a day part in the legacy MVS. This field is not used in current MVS.

              Dp Short Code
             
- 
              Optionally, specify a one character short code for the day part. This character is displayed in the Shift Preferences calendar with the short code for the shift type.

              Is First Dp
             
- 
              Select this check box for the day part that you want to be displayed first when coverage is displayed in the MVS scheduling screens.

              Sort Order
             
- 
              This field is not currently used.
             
 
             Note: The day parts specified must cover an entire contiguous 24-hour period before you click Save.
             
 
- Click Save. 
          The day part set is saved and can be associated to teams.
