Supported swipe types
Swipe types are two-character labels that represent the different types of information sent by the clock to the application. This table describes the swipe types supported by the 9000 Series Clock:

| 01 | In | Records when employees clock in and start working. | 
| 02 | Out | Records when employees clock out and stop working. | 
| 03 | Job | Records when employee start working a new job. | 
| 04 | Docket | Records when employees switch to a new docket. | 
| 06 | Time Code | Represents when employees switch time codes. Time codes represent employee activity for a period of time. For example, a time code switch occurs when an employee stops work to take a lunch break. | 
| 07 | Department | Records when employees start working for a new department. | 
| 08 | Project | Records when employees start working on a new project. | 
| NE | New Employee | Records when an employee is newly enrolled at the clock. |
