Employee Priority By Shift
You can use the Employee Priority By Shift sort order to set which employees should be prioritized when assigning shifts. This helps you give certain individuals higher priority for specific shifts or for shift scheduling overall.
The
Employee Priority By Shift
sort order allows you to specify a priority order for assigning shifts to specific employees. This sort order is useful to give individual employees higher priority when assigning specific shifts or when assigning shifts in general.
Note: The
Employee Priority By Shift
sort order is not supported in LFSO.
The Employee Priority By Shift maintenance form is used to specify the order by which employees are prioritized. Each entry defines an employee's level of priority for being assigned to shifts from the specified team in the Employee Order field. Employees can be given priority levels when assigning shifts for specific jobs or shifts with specific shift labels or shift types. When assigning employees to a shift, priority is given to employees that have an Employee Order specified for the shift in ascending order. Employees that do not have an order specified for the shift are prioritized lower than employees that have an order specified.
