Adding hour types
- Select Maintenance > Payroll Settings > Hour Type.
 - Click Create New Entry.
 - Specify this information: 
           
- Hour Type
 - Specify the name of the hour type.
 - Multiple
 - Specify a number representing the factor by which the base rate should be multiplied when this hour type is selected.
 - Description
 - Specify the description of the hour type.
 - Unauthorize
 - Select this check box to configure the application to not auto-approve a timesheet when this hour type occurs.
 - Sort Order
 - Specify the order in which hour types are displayed in the Summary section of the timesheet.
 - Include in Year at a Glance
 - Select this check box to include time that is charged against this hour type in the Year at a Glance reports.
 - Hour Type Summarize
 - Select this check box to display this hour type in the Code Summary table of the Weekly Timesheet and Supervisor Approval Worksheet.
 - Labour Metric Security
 - 
              Select the type of Labor Metric security to apply, for example, Standard Data or Restricted Data, using the lookup. 
              
This selection lets the application assign a common or unique security key to jobs, dockets, hour types, cost centers, and departments. This key can then be tied to security groups based on a date range to control what data different groups can use in the application.
 - Is Overtime
 - Select this check box to indicate that this hour code is an overtime type.
 
 - Click Save.
