Setting up the geofencing clock validation rule for mobility
This is the workflow for setting up the geofencing clock validation rule for mobility:
- Define the geolocation of the teams that are subject to geo-validation.
 - Specify the grace period to be used by the geo-validation in the GEO_VALIDATION_GRACE registry parameter.
Note: You must specify a value for the grace period. By default, the registry parameter is set to blank, which disables the geo-validation.
See "GEO_VALIDATION_GRACE" in the Infor Workforce Management Registry Parameter Reference Guide.
 - Configure the geofencing clock validation rule for the mobility reader type.

See Configuring the geofencing clock validation rule for the mobility reader type.

Note: Geo-validation is not performed on clocks created through a work summary override. Only clocking events triggered by the mobility clocking widget are considered. If an employee that is subject to geo-validation turns off the location services on their device, the system will prevent them from recording a clock.
