Setting the automatic recalculation behavior

  1. Select Maintenance > System Administration > Registry Maintenance.
  2. In the Registry Tree, select system > ruleEngine > RULEENGINE_AUTORECALC.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Set the registry value to one of these options:
    • TRUE: Automatic recalculation is globally enabled. The rule engine will always recalculate when records are modified, in any module. The recalculated time period is defined at the calculation group level.
    • FALSE: Automatic recalculation is globally disabled. The rule engine will never automatically recalculate. Generally, this is used for load testing purposes and for testing time issues.
    • NULL: This value is the default. The rule engine automatically recalculates based on the module’s recalculation definition.
  5. Click Save.
