Configuring the alternate home team

Before you can assign an alternate home team, you must set the ALLOW_DUAL_TEAM_HIERARCHY parameter to TRUE. If you are implementing a dual hierarchy, you must also specify a valid value in the HOME_TEAM_TYPE parameter. As of now, you can only specify HRORGUNIT as the default Home team.

See the Infor Workforce Management User and Administration Library (Multi-tenant) and select Administrator > Registry Parameters > Platform Registry Parameters.

  1. From the homepage, select Maintenance > Employees > Employee.
  2. Specify the employee name in the search box and click Find to search for the employee. Or click Show Advanced Search to filter the employees.
  3. Beside the employee, click Edit.
  4. Click Turn ON config mode.
  5. In Employee Teams section, select the diamond icon beside the Alternate Home Team field.
  6. In the Field UI, select CheckboxUI from the list. HiddenUI is selected by default.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Click X.
  9. Click Turn OFF config mode.
If you have not set the ALLOW_DUAL_TEAM_HIERARCHY parameter to TRUE, this error message is displayed:

The system is not set up to handle dual hierarchy, alternate teams cannot be specified.
