Self-Scheduling setup

RTSS stands for Real Time Self-Scheduling. This chapter outlines steps on how you can setup RTSS to ensure a smooth and efficient self-scheduling system.

To set up the RTSS, complete the tasks in this order:
  1. Define Self-Scheduling groups.
  2. Optionally, define Self-Scheduling rules.
  3. Create shift templates.
  4. Optionally, create default shifts for employees.

  5. Set up the Self-Scheduling processes and windows.
These tasks must be added to the job scheduler before employees can use Self-Scheduling:
  • RTSS Compliance Violations Report Task
  • RTSS Notification Task
  • RTSS Schedule Creation Task
  • RTSS Status Update Task
