Running the application workflow provisioning process to update content

  1. Log in to your tenant.
  2. Confirm that the necessary user roles are synced in User Management.
    1. Select User Management from the User Menu in the top right of the page.
    2. Find your user name and click User Details.
    3. On the Security Roles tab, ensure that these roles are added:
      • Birst-SystemAdministrator
      • Birst-User
      • WFM-System_Admins
      • WFMBIRST-Developer
      • WFMBIRST-User
      • WFMOPBIRST-User
    4. Click Save on the Security Roles tab, then select the Details tab and click Save again.
  3. Navigate to Birst and open the Global Navigation Menu to show the list of available spaces.
    If you are already in a space, you must click Switch Space in the Global Navigation Menu to show the list of spaces.
  4. Place your mouse pointer over the [TENANT_NAME]-WFMOP-MT-Consumer space.
    A down arrow is shown to the right of the space name when you hold the pointer over it.
  5. Click the down arrow and select Duplicate.
  6. In the Confirm New Space Name field, specify a name for the backup space using this format:
    zBackup_[TENANT_NAME]-WFMOP-MT-[Consumer/Model]_DD_MM_YYYY
  7. Click DUPLICATE.
  8. Repeat the previous steps to duplicate the [TENANT_NAME]-WFMOP-MT-Model space.
  9. Select the [TENANT_NAME]-WFMOP-MT-Model space.
  10. Select Space Management > Command Window.
  11. Enter this command and click Execute:
    Repointpackages zBackup_[TENANT_NAME]-WFMOP-MT-Consumer_DD_MM_YYYY [TENANT_NAME]-WFMOP-MT-Model zBackup_[TENANT_NAME]-WFMOP-MT-Model_DD_MM_YYYY
    Note: Optionally, you can use the space ID instead of the space name. To get the ID, select Space Management > Space Properties. The space ID is shown in the Id field. For example:

  12. In the [TENANT_NAME]-WFMOP-MT-Model space, select Admin > Orchestration.
  13. Run the application workflow named SMD WFM Operations Update or Upgrade WFM Operational from SMD and make sure it completes successfully.
    Note: If neither workflow exists in your tenant, you can add one.

  14. Verify that your reports are available in the [TENANT_NAME]-WFMOP-MT-Consumer space.
