HELP_PATH

Description:

This parameter determines the behavior of the Help button in the WFM Header Menu. By default, the button is configured to open the online documentation for WFM on https://docs.infor.com/. It can also be configured to open a custom help resource on the local application server or on the Internet.

These methods are supported for configuring the Help button:
  • WFM online documentation:

    When this registry parameter is blank, the Help button opens the online documentation for WFM on https://docs.infor.com/. The online documentation that is opened corresponds with the version of WFM that is being used.

  • Internet URL:

    You can specify a URL from the Internet to open a custom help resource when users click the Help button. The URL must start with http:// or https://.

  • Local application server resource:

    You can specify a path to a custom help resource on the local application server to be opened when users click the Help button. This creates a relative link using the specified value in this registry parameter and the file name specified in the HELP_RESOURCE_NAME registry parameter. When this option is used, the URL for the help resource is constructed in this format:

    server DNS or IP Address/HELP_PATH/HELP_RESOURCE_NAME
