AS_INTERVAL

This parameter contains the duration of time intervals, in minutes, used for Auto-Assignment in MVS. When generating the schedule, Auto-Assignment divides each day into intervals based on this value. The default value is 60, which divides each day into 24 hour-long intervals. This configuration is suited for an environment where all shifts start at the beginning of the hour and their duration is a whole number of hours. For example, shifts are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM or from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Use a lower value for AS_INTERVAL for different shift configurations. For example, AS_INTERVAL would be set to 30 minutes if there is an 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM shift. AS_INTEVERAL would be set to 15 minutes if there is a 8:15 AM to 4:00 PM shift.

AS_INTERVAL does not affect Auto-Assignment in LFSO. LFSO determines the scheduling interval based on the Schedule Requirement Interval configured for the location that is being scheduled.
