Using Schedule selection with Manage Schedule
You can access Manage Schedule through the Admin Portal or Self-service Portal.
- From the homepage, select Scheduling > Manage Schedule.
- On the Schedule Selection page, select Team or Employee.
- If you select Team, specify one or more team names to view their schedule.
- Optionally, select the Include sub-teams check box to include schedules for sub-teams associated with the selected teams.
- If you select Employee, specify one or more employee names to view their schedule.
- Optionally, select the Show unassigned shifts check box to display unassigned shifts associated with the selected employees.
This check box is available only when the Employee option is selected. When selected, the Select team(s) for the unassigned shift(s) field becomes available where you can specify one or more team names to include in the schedule.
Note: By default, Manage Schedule can load schedules for up to 1,000 employees at a time. This limit is configurable and controlled by the MAX_EMPLOYEES_SELECTION registry setting. - In the Period selection, select a period type from the list define the range of the schedule to load.
If you select Manual Date Range, you must specify the start and end dates of the time frame. You can use the date picker to facilitate date selection.
Note: By default, Manage Schedule loads a maximum of 56 days for a schedule period. This limit is configurable and controlled by the MAX_DAYS_SELECTION registry setting. An error message is displayed if any of these conditions are met:- The selected range exceeds the maximum.
- The end date precedes the start date.
- Selected teams have different schedule periods.
- Click Load Schedule to display the schedule.
Note: Your current selections are automatically saved as a system-created preset called Last Loaded Schedule. This option displays in the Preset field and is used to reload your most recent Manage Schedule configuration. Every time you navigate away from the Manage Schedule screen, your latest selections are saved, allowing you to return to the same setup when you come back.
You can also save your selections as a custom preset for future use. To apply a preset, select one from the list and click Load Schedule. To start without using a preset, clear the Preset field before proceeding.
