Creating a bulk row version

Creating a bulk row version creates a new row version for every row in the Master Rotation (MR) or One-time Schedule (OTS) template.

  1. Open the MR or OTS template in row editing mode.
    See Opening row editing mode.
  2. Click the Create bulk version icon.
  3. Specify this information:
    Effective Start Date
    Specify the effective start date for the bulk row version. This is the date when shifts and labor metrics added to the new row versions start being used.
    Effective End Date
    Specify the effective end date, when the shifts and labor metrics in the new row versions stop being used.
    Description
    Optionally, enter a description for the new row versions.
  4. Click Create.
    New row versions are created for every row in the MR or OTS template.
  5. Modify the shifts or labor metrics as required.
  6. Click ... > Save to save changes to the bulk row version.
After saving the bulk row version, you can activate the new row versions or close them. These operations use the same steps as when they are performed on a single row version.
