Verifying the status of the Payroll Based Journal Task in Job Scheduler

This topic provides guidelines for:

  • Creating the required asynchronous job scheduler task if it does not exist and how to ensure the task is running.
  • Monitoring log messages for the task and the export of information from WFM.
  1. Select Maintenance > System Administration > Job Scheduler.
  2. Click Add Schedule.
  3. In Task, specify this information:
    Task Description
    Provide a description for the task.
    Task Type
    Select Asynchronous Processing Task from the list.
  4. In Scheduling Time, select Daily.
  5. Click Submit.
  6. Click Ok.
  7. From Task Schedules, select the task to be edited.
  8. Click Parameters.
  9. On Asynchronous Job Type, select PBJ EXPORT ASYNC TASK from the list.
  10. Click Submit.
  11. Click Ok.
  12. Click Run Now to start the task.
  13. Optionally, click Log to monitor the progress if the task.
