Excluding inherited promotion dates

Promotion dates that are inherited from a parent location can be excluded from a sub-location to remove them from the list of promotion dates to be used to train the sub-location.

  1. Select Scheduling > Schedule Optimization > Forecast > Promotion Setup > Promotion Calendar.
  2. Select a location and click Go.
  3. In the Inherited section, select the Exclude check box.
  4. Click Save in the Edits section.
The inherited promotion date is excluded from the sub-location. It is removed from the list of active promotion dates displayed in the Final section. A promotion date can be re-included by clearing the Exclude check box and clicking Save.
