Error messages

You can view the logs in the Job Scheduler or the Import Transactions page for errors during a Work Detail Import. See "Job Scheduler" in the Infor Workforce Management Time and Attendance Implementation and Administration Guide.

Errors are also shown in the Import Log Report. See the Cognos Reporting Administration Guide.

This table lists the possible error messages from the Message column in the Import Transactions page for a Work Detail Import:

Error Message	Description
No rows were added for Employee {Employee Name} because it is a pending employee. Please use the ION processor to complete the initial employee creation to mark this employee as non-pending	This update was for an employee in pending status. Use the ION processor to complete the initial employee creation to mark the employee as not pending.
No rows were added for Employee {Employee Name} because it is a pending employee with pre-existing rows, existing rows will be updated	Although the ION process was used, the rows were already created for the pending employee. In this instance, only updates are allowed.
DEPT_NAME/JOB_NAME/TCODE_NAME, HTYPE_NAME/PROJ_NAME/DOCK_NAME not found	DEPT_NAME/JOB_NAME/TCODE_NAME, HTYPE_NAMEPROJ_NAME/DOCK_NAME not found in the system.
EMP_NAME cannot be null	EMP_NAME not supplied in the import file.
Employee with the EMP_NAME not found	Cannot find the employee in the system.
Error parsing WORK_DATE/ START_TIME/END_TIME	Invalid WORK_DATE/ START_TIME/END_TIME formats.
Error parsing WRKD_MINUTES/WRKD_QUANTITY /WRKD_RATE	Invalid WRKD_MINUTES/WRKD_QUANTITY /WRKD_RATE number formats.
If ovrtypId is not one of the explained ones in Overrides section	This override type ID : {0} is not supported.
If WRKD_END_TIME is supplied for TIMESHEET overrides	End time cannot be supplied for timesheet (elapsed time) overrides.
If WRKD_MINUTES is not supplied for TIMESHEET overrides	Timesheet (elapsed time) overrides must have duration (WRKD_MINUTES).
When ovrtypId is premium, start/end time supplied	Start and end time cannot be supplied for premium overrides.
WORK_DATE cannot be null	Work date not supplied.
Accounting fields or dimensions cannot be supplied for LTA overrides.	Accounting fields or dimensions cannot be supplied for LTA overrides.
Acct_Unit/Acct_Project/Acct_Account/Acct_Dim1…10 not found in the system.	Acct_Unit/Acct_Project/Acct_Account/Acct_Dim1…10 not found in the system.
Accounting unit/Account/Project/Dimensions1…10 is not in open state.	Accounting unit/Account/Project/Dimensions1…10 is not in open state.
