Additional properties for schedule validation

Depending on your system configuration, you can use either a reader configuration in WFM or the settings.conf file on the server to configure these additional properties.

If you are using reader configurations, use these configuration properties to configure schedule validation.

validation.schedule.accept_when_no_schedule

This setting decides if a swipe is accepted with a warning when no schedule exists at the time of swipe.

validation.schedule.furthest_schedule_in_minutes

This setting determines the maximum duration between swipe time and schedule time to consider early or late.

validation.schedule.skip_for_timecodes

This setting provides a list of time codes that are always accepted even if there is no schedule. You can always accept the swipe for configurable time codes. For example, employees clock out and clock in for meal breaks, so applying schedule validation does not make sense.

validation.schedule.skip_in_supervisor_mode

Set the value to Y to skip schedule validation when a supervisor is clocking in or clocking out an employee.

validation.schedule.type

Specify the swipe types that require schedule validation.
