Swipe sharing guidelines

When enabling the swipe sharing feature, these guidelines must be followed:

1. The swipe export process should be running on every clock. For more information on clock server process threads, see the Infor Workforce Management Clock Server Administration Guide.
2. The swipe export thread should be set to execute every 2 minutes at minimum.
3. When in use, break length validation should be configured identically for all clocks configured for swipe sharing.
4. The existing Clock Transaction Data purge policy must be enabled and an appropriate value set in the Aging Days - For Purge Only field.

   The Clock Transaction Data purge policy can be found under Maintenance > System Administration > Archiving > Archiving Policy.

5. After enabling and configuring the Clock Transaction Data purge policy, you must create a job scheduler task for the archiving policy.
