Global Validation Settings

As of the 2025.12 release, the WFM application applies relaxed validation rules for special characters globally.

Note: Only <> are not allowed in the Workforce Management system due to security risks.

You can use the Global Validation Settings page to define the list of allowed special characters, such as \, ", and '.

Caution:

If you change the global validation settings, you must locate each page that uses the value and modify the individual parameter validation there as well.
