Time code parameters
Time code parameters let users flag certain time codes for specific processing or reporting and provide extended flexibility for users requiring a high level of customization. Time code parameters are used to extend the TIME_CODE table with more user-defined fields when all existing user-defined fields and flags have been used. In other words, time code parameters let you create a join between the TIME_CODE table and additional time code data. After the new time code parameter has been added, the user can extract the data from the parameter and use the data accordingly.
For example, a new parameter called Include in Exception Report could be created and applied to the LATE and LE time codes. With the appropriate code in place, users with LATE or LE time codes in their timesheets are flagged and listed in the Exception report.
New time code parameters are created through the Time Code Parameters page and then applied to a time code through the Time Code Data section.
