The application allows partial breaks for employees who start their
breaks anytime within the time window that is specified for the break. The
employee can start their break after the break’s specified start time and can
end their break before the break’s specified end time. Employees who only take
a partial break do not lose paid time. The application lets you modify the
partial break setting with the Allow_partial_breaks registry parameter. If this
parameter is set to NO, then employees are not paid for entire breaks when they
only take portions of their breaks. See the
Registry Parameter Reference Guide.
