Adding a reader type to an IP address group

You can specify a reader type for your IP Address Group. Reader types such as ETM are pre-configured for a clock IP validation rule.

  1. Select Maintenance > Reader Setup > Validations > IP Address Groups.
  2. Click Edit for your previously created IP Address Group.
  3. In Reader Types, click the + icon to add a new row and select the Reader Type from the list.
  4. Click Save.

    The Reader Type and its associated clock IP validation rule is now linked to the IP Address Group.
