Enabling supervisor notification for employee shift claims
The Billboard Claim workflow can be configured to notify team supervisors when
employee-posted shifts are successfully claimed.
The notification functionality is enabled by setting the NOTIFY_MANAGER_OF_EMP_POSTING_CLAIM parameter to true
under
the Accept Billboard Claim
node. By default, supervisor claim notifications
are disabled for employee posted shifts.
As of the 2024.11 release, the Accept Billboard Claim
action node has been
enhanced to allow custom handling for both success and failure actions. When a claim is
successful, the node routes to a success node; in the event of a failure, it routes to a
failure node.
Supervisors are always notified when unassigned shifts that they have posted are successfully claimed, regardless of the configuration of this parameter.
