Employee shift posting
Employees can post their assigned shifts to the Shift Billboard. You can post full shifts or partial shifts in the Self Service Portal or mobility using a smartphone or tablet. To be posted, shifts must belong to a team that has access to post to one or more billboard groups and must occur during the shift posting window. After a shift is posted, other employees that have access to the billboard group may claim the shift. When an employee successfully claims a shift, the shift is removed from the posting employee's schedule and added to the claiming employee's schedule.
In addition to the basic validations, employee shift posts and shift claims must complete a workflow to be successfully reflected in the schedule. These workflows can be customized to add additional validation or approval steps to ensure billboard transactions follow company policies.
