Hiding the employee's contact information

An employee's contact information is displayed at the bottom of the co-worker shift card. Using the contact buttons, users can contact other employees by phone call, text, or email.

The contact information is visible to all users by default. As a system administrator, you can hide the contact information for users in specific security groups. Phone numbers and email addresses can be secured separately.

  1. Tap Home on the application menu.
  2. Tap Config Mode at the bottom of the application menu.
  3. Tap the fifth configuration icon from the left at the top of the page.
  4. In the Co-Worker Shift Card section, tap the security icon beside the contact button (Mobile Phone, Texting, Home Phone, Email) to hide.
  5. For each security group, select Deny from the Permission Flag drop-down to hide the contact button or select Act to show the contact button.
Note: The contact button is available for users in security groups that do not have a permission flag specified.
  6. Tap Save and close the window.
  7. Tap the Settings button at the bottom of the application menu to leave config mode.
  8. Reload the page for the changes to take effect.
