Adding Review Clocks rules
- Select Maintenance > Payroll Settings > Review Clocks Settings > Review Clocks Rules.
- Click Create New Entry.
- Specify this information:
- Rule Name
- Specify a name for the rule.
- Generate a separate warning for the scheduled days with no clocks
- Indicates whether a separate "No clocks recorded" warning will be generated for any day that has a scheduled shift but no clocks. If this check box is not selected, and a sequence is specified in the Review Clocks Sequence field, then a "Clocks out of sequence" warning will be generated for a scheduled shift with no clocks.
- Review Clocks Sequence
- Specify the sequence in which an employee's clocks must be recorded. If you
specify a sequence here, then a "Clocks out of sequence" warning
will be generated for any day where the clocks do not match this
sequence.
You must first define sequence codes in the Review Clocks Sequence page. (Select Maintenance > Payroll Settings > Review Clocks Settings > Review Clocks Sequence.)
- Follow Strict Sequence
- Select this check box to indicate that en employee's clocks must exactly match
the sequence specified in the Review
Clocks Sequence field. If this check box is not
selected, then the employee can record additional clock punches,
such as labor metric clocks, as long as the clocks required by the
sequence are recorded in the right order.Note: Labor metric punches can be treated as ON punches depending on your registry settings. For example, if the TREAT_JOB_AS_ON parameter is set to True, then job clocks are counted as ON clocks if they are the first of the day, or the first following an OFF clock.
