Configuring DBLookups in Self Service Portal
Database lookup (DBLookup) fields can be filtered to control the list of options
displayed to a user based on the context, such as filtering based on the other values that the
user has selected. You can set up filtering for DBLookups in the Self Service Portal by using
configuration mode.
The Self Service Portal has Angular DBLookups. For configuring filtering, Angular DBLookups can access data from other fields using a set of control parameters, which is unique to each DBLookup field. Angular DBLookups do not support the primary/secondary input field method used by JSP DBLookups to access data.
For more details, see "DBLookups" in the Infor Workforce Management Time and Attendance Implementation and Administration Guide.
Note: DBLookups on hybrid pages are Mobility DBLookups, and use a
different process for configuration. See these topics for more information:
- For a list of hybrid pages, see Redesign of the mobility application
- For details on configuring Mobility DBLookups, see “Configuring the DBLookup query” in the Infor Workforce Management Mobility Administration Guide.
