employee
An individual responsible for tracking their
"at-work" time using the HTML clock.
initiating swipe
The swipe the employee performs at the clock to begin
the scheduled swipe review process.
last swipe
The last actual swipe the employee performed using
the HTML clock.
Meal End
A swipe/clock type indicating the employee has
returned from a meal break. This is a time code swipe, with the specific time
code set to WRK (work).
Meal Start
A swipe/clock type indicating the employee has begun
a meal break. This is a time code swipe, with the specified time code being one
where its "is break" flag is set to true.
OFF
A swipe/clock type indicating the employee has
concluded their work day.
ON
A swipe/clock type indicating the employee has
started their work day.

The sequence of swiping events an employee is
expected to perform based on their schedule. See

schedule
A contiguous segment of time over which an employee
is expected to be at work. This also includes a meal break, which is optionally
present between the employee's scheduled start and end times.
scheduled swipe
A swiping event the employee is expected to perform
based on their schedule.
swipe
A single action that records an employee's arrival to
or departure from work. A swipe can apply to the start or conclusion of a work
day or a meal break. A swipe is commonly referred to as a "clocking" action.
