Rule: Minimum Consecutive Rest Between Shifts
This rule sets a minimum number of hours that an employee must rest between scheduled shifts.
Overview
The Minimum Consecutive Rest Period Between Shifts rule determines whether an employee has met the least amount of rest time between scheduled shifts.
When two shifts are scheduled but the amount of rest time between the shifts does not meet this minimum, a violation occurs.
Violation Area
Violations count against the period between the appropriate shifts.
Example
An example would be to set a minimum of 10 rest hours between each scheduled scheduled shift.
