Setting up preferential bidding preferences
To set up preferential bidding preferences:
- Select Maintenance > Optional Modules > Schedule Bidding > Schedule Bid Admin.
- Select the check box beside the schedule bid for which you want to set up preferences.
- From the Select drop-down list, select Edit Preferential Bidding Preferences.
- Click Execute.

corresponding to the field you want to include as a preference field.
UDF fields can also be set up for preferences. For example, you can set up a UDF field to be the location of a shift pattern.
- Specify the display name of the field for the Employee Preferential Bidding Types page in the Display Name field.
- Specify the number of ranks an employee can assign to this field in the Maximum # of Rankings field.
- Click Save.
