Creating a prompt page for the GroupID parameter

Create a prompt page containing prompts for the GroupID parameter.

  1. Click Pages and select Prompt Page.
  2. Click Page design.
  3. Click Toolbox and drag the Text Item object into the third row of the table.
  4. In the Text window, specify Group: and click OK.
  5. Expand Prompting and then drag the Select & search prompt object into the fourth row of the table.
  6. In the Prompt Wizard - Select & Search Prompt window, select the Use existing parameter option and then select the GroupID parameter from the drop-down list.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Select the Create new query option and then specify this information:
    Name
    Specify SelectGroupName.
    Values to use

    Displays the GroupID parameter value that was defined earlier. Leave the default value, which is [Burst Work].[Workbrain Group].[WBG_ID].

    Values to display
    Click …, select Bursting Layer > Burst Work > Workbrain Group > Group Name, and click OK.
  9. Click Finish.
  10. Click inside the prompt object and then click Show properties.
  11. Ensure the Multi-Select property is set to Yes.
