Creating a prompt page for the Team parameter

Create a prompt page containing prompts for the Team parameter.

  1. Select Report > Prompt.
  2. Click +.
  3. Click Prompt page 1.
  4. Click Page views > Page design.
  5. Under Insertable objects, click Toolbox and drag the Table object into the middle of the page.
  6. Specify 1 column and 4 rows and click OK.
  7. Drag the Text Item object into the first row of the table.
  8. In the Text window, specify Team: and click OK.
  9. Expand Prompting and then drag the Select & search prompt object into the second row of the table.
  10. In the Prompt Wizard - Select & Search Prompt window, select the Use existing parameter option and then select the Team parameter from the drop-down list.
  11. Click Next.
  12. Select the Create new query option and then specify this information:
    Name
    Specify SelectTeamName.
    Values to use
    Displays the Team parameter value that was defined earlier. Leave the default value, which is [Burst Work].[Burst Team].[WBT_ID].
    Values to display
    Click …, select Bursting Layer > Burst Work > Burst Team > Team Name, and click OK.
  13. Click Finish.
  14. Click inside the prompt object and then click Show properties.
  15. Ensure the Multi-Select property is set to Yes.
