Creating launch pads

We recommend that you create, update, and test launch pads in a development or test environment before deploying the launch pads to a production environment. You must be logged in as a system administrator to create and manage launch pads.

  1. Select Maintenance > Launch Pads > Launch Pad Wizard.
  2. Select the Create new Launch Pad option and specify the a name and description, or select the Edit Existing Launch Pad option and then select the launch pad you want to edit.
  3. Click Next to proceed to Step 2, Designer.
  4. Click Add Content to open a list of available widgets.
  5. Click Add next to the widgets you want. To remove a widget, click the X icon.
  6. Click the X icon to close the widget list.
  7. For each widget, click the Edit icond on the widget header to specify the parameters.
  8. Click Next to proceed to Step 3, Preview.
  9. Review the launch pad. If everything is okay, click Next to proceed to Step 4, Assignment.
  10. Specify the security group for the launch pad and click Save.
  11. Click OK.
    The new or edited Launch pad is now available for the specified security group.
    Note: To move a widget, click and hold the widget header, and then drag and drop the widget to the location you want.
