SB_SHIFT_ASSIGNMENT_TASK_ENABLED

This parameter determines if the Schedule Bidding module uses the job scheduler task SBAssignShiftPatternTask to complete shift and shift pattern assignment. When this registry parameter is set to FALSE or NO, shift patterns or shifts are assigned immediately when the Assign Shift Patterns/Shifts option is selected from the Schedule Bid Admin maintenance form.

When this registry parameter is set to TRUE or YES, the Assign Shift Patterns/Shifts option appends the SBAssignShiftPatternTask to the job scheduler queue with the Pending status. When the task runs, it assigns shifts or shift patterns based on the selected bidding method. A Workmail notification is sent to the user that initiated the assignment process when the process is complete.
