Jobs in Master Rotations and One-time Schedules

Each row in a Master Rotation (MR) or One-time Schedule (OTS) contains a job that is required to work the shifts that are plotted on the row. Job validation is performed to check that employees assigned to a row have the required job in their employee profile. Job validation occurs on these actions:

When assigning an employee to a row
When activating an MR, OTS template, row version, or bulk row version
When processing an MR or OTS

A warning message is displayed when an employee that is assigned to a row does not have the job required by the row. The warning message can be dismissed to complete the action and keep the employee assignment.

Note:

With release 2023.10, job validation can be skipped through configuration of a registry parameter. Most customers do not require this parameter. For those who do,search Documentation Central for information on the SKIP_JOB_VALIDATION registry parameter.
