Using compact view

  1. Launch compact view. From the main menu of WFM, navigate to Scheduling > Multi-view Scheduler > Enhanced Schedule View > Advanced Schedule View.
  2. Make sure the unit you are viewing and the date range are selected.
  3. Select the Compact View button located just above Key Performance Indicators section of the screen.
It is also possible select Compact View after the schedule has been loaded. For example, if you had selected the Load button instead of Compact View, you can switch to compact view on the Schedule Selection screen.
  4. On the Schedule Selection screen in compact view mode, select the date range that you want to view, for example, May 1 to May 31. When the screen loads, these changes are made to the display:
    • When a schedule is loaded for fewer than 21 days, long shift labels are shortened to 10 characters. When the schedule is loaded for more than 21 days, long shifts labels are shortened to six characters.
    • Data in the Position column is abbreviated to the initials of the assigned employee. For example, "Jane Smith" becomes "JS." To view details about the employee, hover over the cell.
    • By default, the Employee column shows only initials rather than complete employee names. This column can be expanded and collapsed. When expanded, the Employee column shows:
      • Employee full name
      • FTE
      • Rotation information
      • Icons for the employee, if available.
    • Some Employee information is not automatically displayed in compact view. You can use Display Options, available from the asterisk icon on the top-right of the toolbar, to add these options. When added they appear when a user hovers over the shift cell. The information that can be added this way includes:
      • Availability
      • Start/End Time
      • Job
      • Unit
      • Preference
      • Activity
      • Shift Description
      • Unassigned at Top
