Changing the job on a rotation row or template row

You can change the job on an MR rotation row or OTS template row. The job change is applied to the individual row version.
Note: When activating the row, a warning is displayed if any employees that are assigned to the row are not qualified to perform the job. This warning may be dismissed to continue activating the row.
  1. Open row editing mode.
    See Opening row editing mode.
  2. Create a new row version or open a row version that is in the DRAFT status:
    • To create a new row version, right-click in the Employee column and select New Version. Specify the effective dates for the row version and click Create.
    • To open a row version that is in the DRAFT status, right-click in the Employee column and select Show Versions. Click Load next to the row version you would like to edit.
  3. Right-click in the Employee column on the row and select Change Job.
  4. Specify the new job for the row and click Submit.
The new job is applied to the row and is displayed in the Employee column. The row version must be activated for the new job to be used in the MR or in future OTS schedules created from the OTS template.
