Configuring a label property for a job

You can create a label for the job that you plan to begin adding to schedules.

  1. Select Scheduling > Multi-view Scheduler > Advanced Settings > ES Data Definitions > Shift Label Properties.
  2. Click Create New Entry.
  3. Specify this information:
    Label Property Name
    Specify a unique name for the label, for example, Job.
    Label Property Description
    Optionally, provide a description for the label.
    Label Type Name
    Select String.
    Label Type UI
    Select DBLookUpUI to enable the selection of the Skills field from a list under the Property tab.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Configure values for the Job property. Select Scheduling > Multi-view Scheduler > Advanced Settings > ES Data Definitions > Shift Configuration.
  6. From the list of shifts, locate the shift to which you can configure values for the job property and click the Edit icon.
  7. On the Edit Shifts page, locate the Job property.

    Populate the Value field with the name of the position in this format: [JOB]~[Y] or [N]

    where

    JOB is the name of the job and Y or N indicates whether the position is required or optional. Y indicates required.

    For example, LPN~Y means that the shift is staffed by an LPN.

  8. Repeat step 7 as needed to configure additional Job values for this shift.
  9. Click Save.
