Managing on-call shifts in Staffing Center
Managing on-call shifts in the Staffing Center is similar to the ASV. For example, you can add and edit on-call shifts. Unassigned on-call shifts can be assigned, sent to relief, deleted, or offered to employees. Assigned on-call shifts can be floated, booked-off, unassigned, or deleted.
To identify shifts with on-call time, the on-call time details are marked with a green background. For shifts that contain both work time and on-call time, the on-call time is always displayed as the last detail in each shift.
For employees scheduled with on-call time and work time, a clocking icon is displayed. The clocking icon is not displayed for employees scheduled with only on-call time (no work time).
When searching for employees to assign or offer a shift, you can quickly identity employees that have on-call shifts:
- A hollow phone icon indicates employees scheduled with only on-call time.
- A filled phone icon indicates employees scheduled with on-call and work time.
