Load a schedule for the schedule period and team(s) to which you
want to auto-assign employees to unstaffed shifts.

Select
Day Part,
Scheduled Team, or
Job Requirements from the
View drop-down list.

Click
Auto Assign.
The Auto Assign Selection Criteria panel is displayed.

Do one of the following:
- From the Job
Requirements view, select the team/job time combination(s) from the Teams and
Job Times list to which you want to auto-assign employees.
- From the Scheduled
Team view, select the team(s) from the Teams list to which you want to
auto-assign employees.
- From the Day Part
view, select the team and day part combination(s) to which you want to
auto-assign employees.

Select the individual check box(es) for the days on which you want
the auto-assignment to take place. To select the entire schedule period, click
All Days. (Clicking this
button again toggles the entire schedule period to unselected.)

Select the algorithm to use for auto assignment from the Algorithm
drop-down list. Possible options are default and custom.

Click
Auto-Assign to
automatically assign unassigned employees to appropriate unstaffed shifts.
After the execution of auto-assignment, any resulting violations will
be shown.
- On completion, the Auto
Assign Summary panel shows you how successful the auto-assign operation was.
- You can also undo the
auto-assign operation at this point if you want to try again.
Clicking Undo only undoes one level of (the last) auto-assign action.
The Undo feature is disabled if you perform any edits on the schedule or if you
load a new schedule after performing an auto-assign action.
